New Shock Top beer hits retail market
Anheuser-Busch InBev has introduced a new Shock Top beer: Honeycrisp Apple Wheat. The beer, brewed with Belgian Candi Syrup and apple flavor, is designed to combine "the taste of Shock Top Belgian White beer with the sweet, slightly tart apple profile of a cider," the brewery says.
It is available nationwide in six- and 12-packs of bottles and on draft through July 31. The beer, at 5.2 percent alcohol by volume, retails for about $6.99 a six-pack.
