Norwood Service League plans barbecue, beer event
The Norwood Service League is holding the inaugural Great Norwood Micro-Q from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at 5229 Montgomery Road. The event will feature barbecue, zydeco and craft beer. It's being held to help celebrate the social service agency's 95th anniversary.
The four featured beers are: Hop Bomber Pale Ale from Rivertown Brewing, Losantiville Pre-Prohibition Lager from Listermann Brewing, Aftermath from Triple Digit Brewing and Golden Ale from 5Rabbit Cerveceria. Rivertown, Listermann and Triple Digit are Cincinnati beers, while 5Rabbit is from Chicago. The barbecue will be provided by City Barbeque. There also will be desserts made by Buskens, Servatii, and Sweets by LaDawn, and non-alcoholic drinks available.
Tickets are $7.50 for adults, $6.50 for seniors and $5 for children. (You pay separately for the beer.) For more details, call 513-924-1200 or click here.
