Every day, Yahoo! sends me an update about the most interesting and quirky searches through its website. Not surprisingly, Yahoo! queries for "Oktoberfest" are up 5,822 percent this month. Oktoberfest runs from Sept. 17 to Oct. 3. Searches for "beer pong," "sausage recipes," "potato pancakes" and "In what year was the first Oktoberfest celebrated?" also are popular this month.
