Ohio beer bar in running for nation's best
Vintage Estate Wine & Beer in Boardman is among the finalists in Craftbeer.com's Great American Beer Bars competition. It is the only Ohio bar in the contest.
Craftbeer.com asked readers to nominate their favorite craft beer bars and received more than 3,300 recommendations. The website, run by the Brewers Association, chose 10 per region of the country and people can now select one bar from each region as the best. Vintage Estate is in the North Central zone, along with Ashley's in Ann Arbor, Mich.; Bangers & Lace in Chicago; Clubhouse BFD in Rochester Hills, Mich.; Founders Taproom in Grand Rapids, Mich.; Hopcat in Grand Rapids, Mich.; One Eyed Bettys in Ferndale, Mich.; Public House in Rolla, Mo.; The Tribes Alehouse in Mokena, Ill.; and The Wine Tap in Belleville, Ill. Voting ends Sept. 20
