The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Oktoberfest beers are alive and well in the Queen City. Cincinnati is a great beer town, Rivertown Brewing co-owner/brewer Jason Roeper told the newspaper.
"In other cities, you have to explain to people the difference between an ale and a lager," he said. "Here people get it. We have lots of homebrewers, with one of the oldest home-brew clubs in the country (The Bloatarians). Not to mention our long history of the brewing business.”
