The three-day Oktoberfest Zinzinnati starts at noon Friday with a special "sneak peek" at Fountain Square in downtown Cincinnati. The event -- considered the largest Oktoberfest in the country -- officially kicks off at 11:30 a.m. Saturday with the opening ceremony and keg tapping. It runs from 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. Organizers estimate that the festival will attract about 500,000 people to downtown. They also say that more than 800 barrels of beer are consumed each year at Oktoberfest. Ohio brewers Anheuser-Busch InBev, Christian Moerlein, Great Lakes, MillerCoors, Rivertown and Samuel Adams will be represented.
