The revamped International Beer Fest returns to the I-X Center in Cleveland with four tasting sessions this weekend. (Nov. 8-10)
The three-day festival — featuring 500 beers and 100 breweries — has been rolled into the Fabulous Food Show this year. In the past, it was a standalone event.
There are a couple of ways to taste the beer.
You can access the beer area from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday by buying a ticket to the Fabulous Food Show — and then buying a separate ticket for the beer tastings.
Or, there’s the International Beer Fest Grand Tasting Session from 7:30 to 11 p.m. Saturday. General admission is $45, with VIP tickets costing $75.
I will be making a presentation about the beer industry at 1 p.m. Saturday along with (Cleveland) Plain Dealer writer Marc Bona and Scene Magazine beer writer Robert Massie. Feel free to stop by and say hello.
