Samuel Adams is looking for some help from Twitter, Facebook and Google+ friends to create the ultimate collaboration beer. The brewery has teamed up with social media enthusiast Guy Kawasaki for the Samuel Adams Crowd Craft Project. Through Feb. 5, people can visit the Samuel Adams Facebook page to share their ideas for the beer, including the color, body, malt, hops and yeast. The brewers will gather up the fan favorites in each category and design a recipe to brew in February. The beer will debut March 10 at Kawasaki's Girl + Guy party in Austin. It also will be on tap in select bars throughout Austin and at the Samuel Adams Boston Brewery. Samuel Adams' Facebook fans will be the first to know when this beer will hit new markets, the brewery says. "I think it's still up in the air as to which is the better social networking tool -- Facebook or beer," Samuel Adams brewer Bert Boyce said in a prepared statement. "My love of beer is something I share with the Samuel Adams drinkers -- I'm sure that their choices will collectively create a great tasting brew. We can't wait to see what they come up with."
