StarkBier Fest set Saturday in Cincinnati

starkbier2The Cincinnati Craft Brewer's StarkBier Fest 2013 -- an outdoor celebration dedicated to beers made by Cincinnati-area brewers -- will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday (March 23) at Listermann Brewing Co. in Cincinnati.

Thirteen brewers are participating and bringing special beers for the event: Blank Slate (Shroominous), Rivertown (Infinite Shilling and Hop Barron), 50 West (Punch you in the EyePA), MadTree (Identity Crisis), Rock Bottom (Bourbon Barrel Aged Brown Ale and Scotch Ale), Christan Moerlein (Coffee Bock), Mt Carmel (Snapshot Series Ardennes Quad), Great Crescent (TBD), Wiedemann (Special Lager), Cellar Dweller (Goat Violator), Triple Digit (Gravitator), Listermann (Smoked Bock) and Quaff Bros (Corn on the Knob.

The beer prices include $2 for a four-ounce sample and $5 for a 16-ounce pint. There also will be souvenir glasses for sale. In addition to the beer, the event will feature food, merchandise and live music. There is a heated tent for the event.
