Teamsters protest beer distributor
Teamsters Local 957 in Dayton is taking a dispute with Heidelberg Distributing Co. public. The union complained in a news release Friday that the company wants to get rid of health care coverage for retirees and force employees to accept a poor contract, according to the Dayton Daily News. The union has bought two electronic billboards in the Dayton area for its "Budweiser distributor is tasteless" campaign. Heidelberg distributes Anheuser-Busch InBev and other brands. The dispute could lead to a strike, the union says. To read the full newspaper story, click here. To read the Teamsters news release, click here.
