Triple Digit Brewing Co. and Blank Slate Brewing Co. in Cincinnati have teamed up for a new collaboration beer called Determination. It's a Belgian-style golden strong ale "infused with an enormous amount of American and New Zealand hops," Triple Digit said in a news release. The hops give the beer a citrus and "white wine character."
The beer -- which is 9 percent alcohol -- will be available in 22-ounce bottles and on draft throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. The official draft release is Monday at the Hyde Park Cock and Bull.
Triple Digit and Blank Slate also are taking over the taps at Marty's Hops and Vines at 5 p.m. Wednesday. Each brewery will have three beers available, and Blank Slate's Scott LaFollette and Triple Digit's Kevin Moreland will be there to answer questions.
