Twilight Summer Ale wins Global Warming Open
Deschutes Twilight Summer Ale took home the top prize at the Brewing News' fifth annual Global Waming Open, which wrapped up last weekend. The beer beat out Black Diamond Wheat Wacker.
There were plenty of Ohio beers represented in the competition, which pitted beers against each other in a format similar to the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament. Willoughy Brewing Co.'s Hazy Days survived into the Elite 8 and was the last-standing Ohio beer. Other Ohio breweries that participated were: The Brew Kettle and Fat Head's,
