Weasel Boy opens pizza shop
Weasel Boy Brewing Co. in Zanesville -- the brewery that features Weasel-related names for its beers -- has opened its pizza shop. The brewery has talked for years about serving pizza.
The brewpub now offers artisan pizzas, salads and breadsticks. The wheat pizza crust is beer-infused and the ingredients are produced locally, owner/brewer Jay Wince said.
In other brewery news, Weasel Boy will participate next month at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver. The brewery won a bronze medal in 2010 for its Anastasia Russian Imperial Stout.
