Winking Lizard eyes another Columbus location
The Winking Lizard Tavern is looking at opening a new Columbus location. "We are diligently looking for either a Winking Lizard or a Lizardville," partner John Lane said in an email. "We just haven't had much luck down there finding a place." He's been looking in city neighborhoods both on the east and west sides. Lane announced last week that the chain -- which runs the immensely popular World Tour of Beers and is one of the best beer bars in the state -- plans to open two Lizardville bars this year in downtown Cleveland and Rocky River. That got a few Columbus fans wondering about their market. The Winking Lizard has two locations in Columbus now.
