It's common for beer festivals to donate a portion of their proceeds to a local charity. The World Beer Festival is no different.
All About Beer Magazine, which organizes the event, announced this week that its charity partner for the upcoming World Beer Festival--Cleveland will be Engage! Cleveland, a young professionals group.
“Engage! Cleveland is thrilled to partner with World Beer Festival in its second year in Cleveland,” Engage! Cleveland Executive Director Ashley Basile Oeken said in a prepared statement. “Cleveland’s brewery and beer scene is a huge draw for our city’s young professionals, and World Beer Festival has helped put us on the map.”
All About Beer Magazine says World Beer Festival events have raised more than $350,000 for local charities over the years.
The Cleveland fest is June 14 at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica. For more details on the event or to buy tickets, click here.
