The World Beer Festival is coming back to Cleveland with a new Belgian section. All About Beer Magazine announced today (May 6) that the second annual event would include a Belgian area with brands such as Duvel, Liefmans, Ommegang, Achouffe and Maredsous.
“The addition of a Belgian Beer section adds a new layer to the beer offerings at this year’s festival,” All About Beer Magazine President Daniel Bradford said in a prepared statement. “The inaugural World Beer Festival—Cleveland was a huge success and our events team is working diligently to provide new and expanded educational components in 2014.”
The event is set for June 14 at Nautica.

World Beer Festival—Cleveland announces the addition of A Taste of Belgiumto 2014 footprint
May 6, 2014 – Cleveland, OH - The World Beer Festival—Cleveland, to be held June 14, 2014, proudly announces the addition of a Belgian Beer section to its second annual celebration of beer from around the world.
A Taste of Belgium, presented by Duvel Moortgat USA will solely feature Belgian style beers. Expected brands include Duvel, Liefmans, Brewery Ommegang, Brasserie DʼAchouffe and Maredsous with styles such as the Belgian Tripel, Belgian Brown, Belgian Golden, Belgian IPA, Lambic, and Abbey, among others.

A representative from Duvel Moortgat USA will be on hand to educate festival attendees on the Belgian beer selections, as well as to present on the topic as part of the festivalʼs Art of Beer presentations. Festival attendees will have the opportunity to taste a wide variety of Belgian style beers, including a small selection of extremely limited beers.

The World Beer Festival—Cleveland will be held at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica (2014 Sycamore Street, Cleveland). General Admission tickets are currently $35, with a price increase to $40 on May 14th and include a tasting glass and 40 taste tickets to sample from over 200 different beers. VIP admission tickets are available at $75 and offer the same in addition to a bonus hour of admission, access to a private hospitality area with private bathrooms, an upscale food buffet, and a bonus selection of rare beers not available to the general public. The festival will be held on June 14th, 2014 and offer two sessions, 12-5pm for VIPs and 1-5pm for General Admission.
