6-11-09 Morning RoundUp
Just when you think you can count on Carl Pavano he gives up nine runs in 4.2 innings. He get's a mulligan for now because he has been one of the Indians most consistent pitchers so far this season.
He finished the month of May with a 5-1 record and 3.60 ERA after all. June started off even better with a complete game, three-hitter last week against the White Sox. So, Lets pretend like this didn't happen Carl.
THE REST...
-- David Dellucci has resurfaced, signing a minor league deal with the Blue Jays.
-- Paul Hoynes likes what he sees recently from Luis Valbuena, even if it is just two games at shortstop.
-- The Indians are now through 30 rounds of draftpicks, with 20 more to go. Guess how many are pitchers? 20 of them.
-- First pick Alex White will be groomed as a closer when/if he signs with the Tribe.
