ANGELS 8, INDIANS 3 -- Angels second baseman Howie Kendrick drove in five runs as the Angels buried the Indians in the series finale. Kelly Shoppach was 2-3 with two RBI for the Indians. The Indians are off today, but return home tomorrow to play the AL Central leader, Detroit. Jeremy Sowers and Edwin Jackson are the scheduled pitchers. BOX SCORE

ORIOLES 7, ROYALS 3 -- Royals starter Zack Greinke was his usual dominant self, the Royal's bullpen didn't change either. Unfortunately for Greinke. The bullpen allowed five earned runs after Greinke's departure. Baltimore right fielder Nick Markakis drove in three runs with singles in the seventh and eighth inning and Adam Jones hit his 17th home run of the season. He also drove in three. BOX SCORE

TIGERS 13, RANGERS 5 -- Tigers centerfielder Curtis Granderson and Rangers designated hitter Andruw Jones each hit two home runs. Miguel Cabrera drove in four runs, including a homer of his own, as the Tigers belted their way past the Rangers. Justin Verlander struck out 13 in seven innings. BOX SCORE

TWINS 3, WHITE SOX 2 -- The Twins' bullpen threw four innings of scoreless baseball to give the Twins the edge. Minnesota second baseman Alex Casilla drove in two runs with a ground rule double in the first and a single in the sixth.
