Acta knows the boundaries; Cabrera to return Sunday
SEATTLE: Manager Manny Acta is an active tweeter, but his messages are unlikely to raise any eyebrows.
“”I never got in any trouble tweeting,’’ he said thi afternoon. “”I knew from Day 1, what I should tweet and what I shouldn’t.’’
Chris Perez, on the other hand, was fined by the commissioner’s office for tweeting the message, “””You hit us, we hit you. Period,’’ after last week’s game in which one Tribe player and one Royals player were hit by pitches.
“”I have no response (to Perez’s tweet),’’ Acta said. “”Everybody is entitled to his own opinion, his own thoughts.’’
Asdrubal Cabrera, who has been gone all week because of the death of his grandfather in Venezuela, will return to Cleveland on Sunday.
