Sizemore and Santana added to roster, some AFL notes
* The Indians activated OF Grady Sizemore and C Carlos Santana from the 60-day disabled list Friday, officially bringing the 40-man roster to 35 players.
* Out in the Arizona Fall League, 3B Cord Phelps is riding a nine-game hitting streak, a span in which he’s batting .447 with three doubles, a home run and seven RBI…2B Jason Kipnis has been hot over his last eight games, batting .281 with two doubles, two triples, two home runs and seven RBI…LHP Scott Barnes is 2-1 with a 4.34 ERA in five starts, ranking third in the AFL with 21 strikeouts compared to just four walks.

The Cleveland Indians announced some changes to its uniforms for next season, including a new road jersey and new alternate cap.

Roster trim continues with Marte outrighted Friday
The Indians continued to get their off-season roster in shape Friday, outrighting the contract of 3B Andy Marte to Triple-A Columbus, thus making him free agent eligible.
The Tribe's 40-man roster is now at 35 players counting two players on the 60-day Disabled List in C Carlos Santana and CF Grady Sizemore.

Tribe trims 40-man roster in off season
This week, the Indians began their customary off-season work of trimming their 40-man roster, partly in preparation for the Rule 5 Draft in December.
On Monday, the Indians outrighted C Luke Carlin to Triple-A Columbus, allowing the veteran to declare free agency.
