Aeros comeback comes up short

BOWIE BAYSOX 13, AKRON AEROS 11 KEY STATS: Facing his former team for the first time, Aeros starting pitcher Bobby Livingston did not last long against the Baysox. In just 4 2/3 innings, Livingston gave up a team season-high 10 runs on 11 hits...With the loss, the Aeros season-high skid reached six games as they've lost eight of their last nine games. KEY MOMENTS: The Baysox lit up Livingston for five runs in the fifth inning, three more in the third and two in the fifth...But the Aeros did some damage against Baysox starter Brian Matusz as well, getting to him for a season-high six runs on 11 hits...Trailing 8-1, the Aeros battled back to within a run in the eighth inning 12-11. STORM'S STAR: Aeros designated hitter Jared Goedert went 4-for-3 with an Aeros season-high six RBI and two runs scored. UP NEXT: The Aeros continue this four-game series with Bowie (Baltimore Orioles) tonight at Canal Park at 7:05 p.m. Aeros left-hander Ryan Edell (2-1, 2.43 ERA) and right-hander Radhames Liz (3-1, 2.81 ERA) are the scheduled pitchers.
