THE SKINNY

Akron has struggled a bit as of late, winning six of its last 19 games. facing Erie doesn't appear to be the best ay to get out of that funk. Te Seawolves are 12-3 this season against the Aeros and bring some of the most potent bats in the Eastern League to the ballpark. The SeaWolves have hit 37 home runs in their 23 gamesthis month. Nine players have three or home runs in the month as well.

Putting things in perspective, the Aeros have 63 home runs all season long.

Erie trails Akron by three games in the Eastern league Southern Division race, Akron's smallest lead since June 6th.
