Buck takes hit to make room for Gomez
KANSAS CITY, No.: Travis Buck was optioned to Columbus this morning to make room on the roster for Jeanmar Gomez, who will start tonight against the Royals in place of the injured Mitch Talbot.
Buck, playing part time in the outfield, batted. 241 with three doubles, four runs and two RBI in 29 at-bats.
