Building endurance is Sizemore's goal
CLEVELAND: When will Grady Sizemore be activated from the disabled list?
Not when he gets X-number of at-bats or when his swing looks like it's peaking.
""It's more about building himself up to play nine innings,'' manager Manny Acta said this afternoon ""First he has to play seven innings, then nine, then he has to play nine back to back. It's not a certain amount of at-bats. It's building up his stamina more than anything.''
At the moment, Sizemore is working on playing seven innings.
Sizemore is scheduled to play in tonight's exhibition game between Ohio State and the Clippers in Columbus. He also is expected to play Wednesday night in an exhibition game between the Aeros and the Clippers in Columbus.
After that, he will begin a 20-day rehabilitation assignment with the Aeros, who start their season with a seven-game homestand Thursday.
