Carrasco impressive to battery mate Marson

Right-hander Carlos Carrasco struck out eight in seven innings last night for the Columbus Clippers, much to the delight of his catcher Lou Marson, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

"I've been saying that for a couple of years now. He goes to his secondary pitches. He throws 94 (mph). He's got a great fastball. I don't know what (the Indians) want him to do. But that's what I think."


On the two home runs Carrasco allowed:

"He tried to overthrow those," Marson said. "They're both good hitters. He stuck the ball over the middle of the plate and they hit them."
