CC roughed up
Thanks to him we have an update on former Indian CC Sabathia's day against the Tigers:
CC’s second inning: single, single, single, strikeout, double, groundout, two-run bomb to left by Sheff, single. It’s 5-4 Tigers.
...
UPDATE, 3:03 p.m.: We just spoke to CC. He feels fine, he just had trouble locating balls to both sides of the plate and couldn’t locate his cutter with two strikes. That’s usually an out pitch for him.
Not that any of it matters. It is spring training after all and a lot of pitchers are trying to work on different things. I'm sure CC will be his normal self come season opener.
