Chisenhall latest Indian to be hit by pitch
CLEVELAND: Lonnie Chisenhall's injury was officially decribed as a facial contusion after he was hit by a pitch in the second inning and had to leave the game against the Blue Jays.
The pitch from Carlos Villanueva bounced off Chisenhall's batting helmet and struck his cheek and nose.
He is the 11th Tribe batter to be hit by a pitch in the past 20 games. Cleveland ranks third in the American League in hit batters with 36, trailing only the White Sox (51) and the Yankees (41). Indians pitchers have hit 29 batters.
