Choo expected to return Tuesday night
CLEVELAND: Shin-Soo Choo missed his fifth game in a row this afternoon with a slight hamstring strain, but manager Manny Acta had positive news about his right fielder.
""He's OK,'' Acta said. ""We'll see how he comes back after the activities he did with Lonnie today. I anticipate that he'll be ready for the next series in Chicago.''
Choo ran the bases and did agility drills under the supervision of head trainer Lonnie Soloff this morning and reported no ill effects.
The Tribe opens a three-game set with the White Sox Tuesday night, so Choo will get one more day of rest before returning.
Durinig Choo's absence, the Indians were 2-3, but it could have been worse.
""I'm just happy we were able to buy some time until Choo was healthy,'' the manager said.
