A look at how the Indians Minor League affiliates fared Friday:
Triple-A Columbus (74-60) - The visiting Clippers lost 2-1 to Louisville...RHP Carlos Carrasco limited the bats to just one run on five hits while striking out six in seven innings, but did not earn the decision...RHP Saul Rivera was tagged with the loss when he gave up a run on two hits in the ninth inning...2B Drew Sutton went 2-for-4 and drove in the Clippers only run in the sixth inning.
Double-A Akron (68-64) - Host Akron topped Erie 5-2...RHP Corey Kluber (2-2, 3.76 ERA) earned the win in holding the SeaWolves to one run on eight five hits while striking out five...DH Jerad Head smacked a two-run double and SS Cristo Arnal went 2-for-3 with two runs scored.
High Class-A Kinston (30-30 in second half) - Host Kinston doubled up Salem 2-1...LHP T.J. House (6-9, 3.82 ERA) picked up the win in holding the visitors to one run on two hits while striking out four over six innings...1B Jeremie Tice hit a home run and drove in both of the K-Tribe's runs on the evening.
Low Class-A Lake County (28-32 in second half) - Visiting Lake County was double up 12-6 by Bowling Green...RHP Curtis Haley (5-10, 5.87 ERA) took the loss in allowing six runs (four earned) on just three hits but eight walks in just 2 2/3 innings...DH Chris Kersten went 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI to lead the Captains offense...3B Adam Abraham went 2-for-5 with two RBI.
Short-season Mahoning Valley (28-39) - Visiting Mahoning Valley was shut out 11-0...RHP Jordan Cooper (5-4, 4.01 ERA) took the loss in giving up five runs (four earned) on seven hits in just four innings...SS Kevin Fontanez went 1-for-3 with a double - the Scrappers only extra-base hit on the night.
