Lewis began his major league career last season by throwing 15 consecutive scoreless innings. What is in store for the soft tossing lefty this year? No one is really sure yet.

He is 4-0 in his first four major league starts and will be going for his fifth consecutive win today.

Lewis pitched very well in spring training until the Indian's brass informed him he made the rotation. Two bad starts followed. In his defense, the wind was blowing near 20 miles an hour against the Angels and he claims he struggled gripping the ball against the Mariners.

Richmond is a finesse right hander without much big league experience. This will be his sixth major league start.

He is 1-3 with a 4.00 ERA and has struck out 20 in 27 innings.

Richmond did not have a stellar spring training as he went 0-2 with a 6.63 ERA, but still earned the right to be the Blue Jays fifth starter to begin the season.

THE SKINNY

The Indians were clicking their ruby red Reeboks as soon as Thursday's beat down by the Rangers ended.

"there is no place like home," they may have said. "There is no place like home."

In front of 42,000+ fans in Cleveland today "The Prog" should be rockin'. Here is to hoping Lewis takes care of the rolling.
