Grudzielanek makes smashing return
GOODYEAR, Ariz.: Mark Grudzielanek made a smashing comeback from a slight hamstring injurie in the Indians' 10-4 win over the Reds at Goodyear Ballpark Friday night.
In addition, minor-league starter Yohan Pino, who will begin the season at Columbus, worked 42/3 innings and gave up three runs, three hits and two walks, striking out six.
Grudzielanek, who hadn't played since last Sunday, made three plate appearances and took full advantage of each, ripping two RBI doubles and a single. Lou Marson smacked a three-run homer and a single, and Luis Valbuena drove in two runs with three hits, including a double.
Jamey Wright made his final spring appearance, pitching the last two innings and giving up one unearned run on one hit.
