Hafner explains latest injury
CHICAGO: After tonight's 8-2 loss to the White Sox, Travis Hafner explained how he hurt his rib cage.
""I did it on one swing in batting practice yesterday,'' he said. ""It was really painful, and after that I couldn't swing. It's a possible oblique (strain), but I'm not sure yet. I think one of the big things is how it felt this morning. It wasn't worse.'' ¶
He will find out today after more tests, probably including an MRI scan, are performed.
""I never had anything like this, so we'll have to wait and see until tomorrow,'' he said. ¶
