Indians 10th round pick in draft is Samford's Josh Martin
The Indians selected RHP Josh Martin from Samford University in the 10th round (323rd)of the MLB draft.
The 6-foot-5, 230-pound Martin is a senior who was drafted in the 25th round last season by the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Martin was named a Louisville Slugger Third Team All-America this season after going 12-2 with a 3.35 ERA in 17 starts, tying for the NCAA lead in wins and finishing his career as the Bulldogs' career leader in wins with 24.
A First-Team All-Southern Conference honoree, martin went 6-2 with a 2.76 ERA in 58 2/3 innings as a junior last season.
