Here's how the Tribe minor league teams fared Monday:

Triple-A Columbus (35-16) - The Clippers dropped the opener of a four-game series at Durham 7-4 at Durham Athletic Park...Columbus wasted a 4-1 lead by allowing two runs in the sixth inning and three more in the seventh...LHP SCOTT BARNES (3-1, 5.12 ERA) limited the Bulls to just one run on four hits and a walk over five innings, while striking out nine. But barnes took a no-dacision after reliever RHP JUSTIN GERMANO gave up three runs and LHP NICK HAGADONE suffered his first blown save at the Triple-A  level after allowing two runs of his own - including a three-run home run in the seventh inning...INF LUIS VALBUENA led the offense in going 3-for-4 with a RBI... DH JASON KIPNIS (2-for--4) and INF CORD PHELPS (2-for-5) each added a pair of hits...Upon his return to Columbus, INF JARED GOEDERT hit a solo home run.

Double-A Akron (25-27) - Aeros C CHUN CHEN hit a two-out, eighth-inning RBI double that scored IB MATT MCBRIDE to hand host Akron a 3-2 victory over Richmond in the four-game series finale at Canal Park in front of a franchise-record 9,328 fans... RHP AUSTIN ADAMS (4-4, 2.51 ERA) limited the Flying Squirrels to one earned run on four hits and five walks over five-plus innings, while striking out five in the no-deicsion...Reliever and RHP MATT LANGWELL (2-1, 1.69 ERA) picked up the win after tossing 1 1/3 scoreless innings...Closer and RHP CORY BURNS walked two batters in the ninth, but escaped a bases-loaded jam to earn his 13th save of the season...Offensively, LF TIM FEDROFF went 1-for-2 with a RBI, one run scored, two walks and two stolen bases.

High Class-A Kinston (25-24) - The K-Tribe...The Indiand cruised to a 9-1 win over Wilmington in the first game of a four-game series, marking their 11th victory in their last 13 games...RHP CLAYTON COOK (5-3, 3.42 ERA) pitched six strong innings, allowing only a run on one hit and four walks...RHP KYLE LANDIS struck out four in three scoreless innings of relief to record his first save of the season...The K-Tribe's offense took advantage of a pair of Wilmington errors in the second and third innings, to get out to 3-0 lead. Kinston's batters jumped all over Wilmington starter and RHP TIMOTHY MELVILLE (5-5, 4.83 ERA) in the fourth inning as 10 men came to the plate...INF CASEY FRAWLEY’S grand slam capped the six-run outburst...C ROBERTO PEREZ went 4-for-4 with two RBI.

Low Class-A Lake County (23-28) - The Captains split a doubleheader with West Michigan, dropping the first game 5-0 before rebounding to win the second game 4-3...LHP MIKE RAYL (4-1, 2.05 ERA) started the first game for the Captains, limiting the Whitecaps to a run on six hits over three innings, but still being handed his first loss this season...RHP JOSUE CARRENO (2-6, 6.54 ERA) pitched well to earn the win for the Whitecaps, striking out six in a complete-game shut-out...Captains' RHP DALE DICKERSON (0-1, 2.53 ERA) gave up a solo home run to INF JAMES ROBBINS and a two-run home run to OF RYAN HAMME in the seventh inning...In Game Two, starter and RHP NATHAN STRIZ (0-2, 5.96 ERA) allowing three runs in 3 1/3 innings...RHP NICKOLAS SARIANIDES (3-2, 3.28 ERA) picked up the win for Lake County after throwing 2 2/3 scoreless innings...Captains DH JESUS AGUILAR went 2-for-3 with a RBI and run scored...RHP CLAYTON EHLERT (0-2, 2.53 ERA) finished the game by recording his 10th save, which is 4th in the Midwest League.
