Here's how the Indians minor league teams fared Monday:

Triple-A Columbus (13-5) - The host Clippers are 7-0 against Indianapolis this season after a double header sweep by scores of 6-1 and 6-5 over he Indians...In the first game, RHP ALEX WHITE (1-0, 1.90 ERA) picked up his first win of the season by striking out eight batters in just 5 2/3 innings while limiting the Indians a run on five hits...INF TRAVIS BUCK's two-run single rallied the Clippers to a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the first...INF LUIS VALBUENA also contributed two RBI and OF JORDAN BROWN had two hits and a RBI...OF CHAD HUFFMAN hit his fifth home run in four games and had two hits...In Game 2, RHP JENSEN LEWIS (2-0, 0.00 ERA) picked up his second win after pitching a scoreless inning of relief...But the nightcap victory wasn’t easy as the Clippers had to rally from a five-run deficit...Brown smacked a grand slam in the bottom of the fifth to pull the Clippers to wirthin a run...The following inning, Valbuena and OF EZEQUIEL CARRERA each added clutch RBI singles...RHP JOSH JUDY (2-1, 3.24 ERA) tossed a hitless seventh inning to notch his second save of the season.

Double-A Akron (8-9) - The host Aeros game with Bowie was postponed due to inclement weather...The game is scheduled to be made up as part of a double header today with two seven-inning games beginning at 6:05 p.m.

High Class-A Kinston (6-11) - The host K-Tribe dropped the series opener against Salem 7-3 at Grainger Stadium...LHP DREW POMERANZ (0-0, 2.00 ERA) limited the Red Sox to an earned on three hits and no walks while striking out five in just three innings of a no-decision. His early exit was due to a cramp in his left hamstring...Kinston began the fifth inning with a 2-1 lead, but the Red Sox scored four times in two innings against reliever and RHP TORU MURATA, (0-1, 9.00 ERA), who took the loss...OF GREG FOLGIA went 2-for-4 with a RBI...INF CASEY FRAWLEY added two hits and a RBI.

Low Class-A Lake County (10-8) - The visiting Captains earned a 2-1 victory over Fort Wayne...1B JESUS AGUILAR hit his fifth home run of the season, a two-run shot in the fourth inning that gave Lake County all the offense it would need to notch the team's second consecutive win...RHP KYLE BLAIR (2-0, 2,84 ERA) earned the win after limiting the Tin Caps just one run on five hits in five innings while striking out four...LHP FRANCISCO JIMENEZ added three scoreless innings of relief in which he gave up just one hit and RHP CLAYTON ELHERT picked up his fourth save with a hitless ninth inning...In other Lake County news, OF CARLOS MONCRIEF was been named the Midwest League Player of the Week for the week of April 18-24. Over that span, Moncrief batted .437 (6-for-17) with two doubles, a triple, two home runs and six RBI while also scoring seven runs. The 22-year old from Jackson, MS, was the Indians 14th-round pick out of Florida's Chipola Junior College in Florida. Initially drafted as a pitcher, after two seasons in the organization Moncrief was converted to an outfielder prior to the 2010 season.
