Here's how the Tribe's minor league teams fared Tuesday:
Triple-A Columbus (26-12) - The Clippers game against visiting Pawtucket was rained out and is scheduled to be made up as part of a doubleheader at Huntington Park Wednesday.
Double-A Akron (18-19) - The Aeros game against visiting Altoona was rained out and is scheduled to be made up as part of a doubleheader at Canal Park Thursday beginning at 10:35 a.m.
High Class-A Kinston (15-22) - The K-Tribe topped visiting Lynchburg 4-3 at Historic Grainger Stadium... Trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the second inning, INF ADAM ABRAHAM walked, C DOUG PICKENS double and OF DELVI CID was hit-by-pitch to load the bases. OF TYLER HOLT drew a walk to score the first run before INF JUSTIN TOOLE delivered the big blow – a bases-clearing double that put Kinston ahead, 4-1...Despite allowing a two-run home run in the top of the third and pitching in and out of trouble, LHP T.J. HOUSE (2-4) earned the win. Over six innings he gave up three runs while tip-toeing around 12 baserunners (eight hits and four walks)... RHP TYLER STURDEVANT worked 1 2/3 innings to earn his third hold of the season)... RHP PRESTON GUILMET slammed the door with his sixth save by working a scoreless 1 1/3 innings.
