Here's how the Tribe's minor league teams fared Wednesday:

Triple-A Columbus (35-18) - After winning eight-of-nine games, the Clippers have dropped three consecutive contests with a 5-4 loss to host Durham at Durham Athletic Park...Columbus got off to a slow start and trailed 4-1 after six innings until INF WES HODGES hit a three-run home run in the seventh to tie the game...But Bulls INF RUSS CANZLER answered with a RBI single in the bottom of the inning to hand RHP JOE MARTINEZ (4-2, 4.73 ERA), the loss...RHP COREY KLUBER (3-3, 6.32 ERA) started for the Clippers and gave up four runs on 10 hits and two walks over six innings in the no-decision...DH LONNIE CHISENHALL went 2-for-4 with a run scored...OF CHAD HUFFMAN also went 2-for-4 with a RBI.

Double-A Akron (25-29) - The Aeros rallied late but fell short in their 12-9 defeat by host Reading at FirstEnergy Stadium...After trailing 9-2 through six innings, Akron's offense woke up and scored seven runs in the seventh to tie the game at 9-9. But Reading answered in the bottom of the frame, scoring more times to retake the lead for good...RHP ADAM MILLER (1-1, 13.50 ERA) took the loss after surrendering the game’s final three runs on five hits in the fatal seventh...LHP MATT PACKER (2-5, 2.85 ERA) started the game for the Aeros, dishing up seven runs on nine hits- including allowing three home runs - in just 2 2/3 innings...DH CHUN CHEN hit his seventh home run of the season- a two-run shot in the seventh inning while driving in three runs on a 2-for-3 day...SS JUAN DIAZ was 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk.

High Class-A Kinston (26-25) - Kinston's bats were silenced in a 2-0 shutout to Wilmington. Kinston starter and LHP DREW POMERANZ (1-1, 1.85 ERA) threw five scoreless innings in which he yielded just three hits while striking out four despite being tagged with a no-decision...Wilmington starter and RHP JAKE ODORIZZI (4-0, 2.05 ERA) and his bullpen lived up to the challenge, as RHP TYLER SAMPLE (3-3, 2.72 ERA) earned the victory after two innings of scoreless relief...Wilmington INF REY NAVARRO drove in the game’s only runs via a two-run homerun off LHP FRANCISCO JIMENEZ (1-1, 6.94 ERA) in the eighth inning as Jimenez suffered his first loss this season...OF BO GREENWELL went 2-for-4 with a double.

Low Class-A Lake County (25-28) - The Captains RHP MICHAEL GOODNIGHT (4-3, 2.37 ERA) overpowered Kane County's RHP YORDANO VENTURA (0-1, 7.04 ERA) in a 5-3 Lake County victory. Goodnight threw five scoreless innings, limting the Blue Rocks to three hits and four walks while striking out eight...In the first inning, OF CARLOS MONCRIEF drove the first pitch he saw over the fence in recording his seventh home run of the season - and his second in as many days - to go along with a triple...OF ANTHONY GALLAS went 3-for-3 with a double, home run and two RBI...LHP J.D. REICHENBACK recorded his third hold, while RHP DALE DICKERSON earned his first save of the season.
