Here's how the Indians minor league teams fared Thursday:

Triple-A Columbus (55-26) - The Clippers won their hird consecutive game 6-2 against Toledo...LHP SCOTT BARNES (7-2, 3.40 ERA) gave up just one hit in his first seven innings and held the Mud Hens to two runs (one earned) on three hits and a walk while striking out five in 7 1/3 innings...The Clippers held a 2-0 lead through six innings before getting some late-game insurance runs via a four-run seventh inning featuring a two-run double by 2B JASON KIPNIS... OF EZEQUIEL CARRERA also had two RBI while INF LUIS VALBUENA and C PAUL PHILLIPS each collected a pair of hits...OF JERAD HEAD hit his 11th homer of the season via a solo homer in the fourth.

Double-A Akron (40-40) - The Aeros saw their season-high, six-game winning streak halted after losing 7-3 to host Erie in the first game of a four-game set...LHP KELVIN DE LA CRUZ (4-6, 4.62 ERA) took the loss, yielding five runs on eight hits while striking out eight and walking none...With the win, Erie improved to 40-39 and moved past Akron in the Eastern Legue Western Division by a half game...The SeaWolves got off to a fast start, scoring an early in the first inning and picking up three more runs on a homer by C BRYAN HOLADAY in the second inning for a 4-0 lead...The Aeros scored their three runs via RBI singles from 2B KAREXON SANCHEZ, DH JORDAN HENRY and OF BEN COPELAND...Henry finished the night 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored...OF NICK WEGLARZ went 2-for-4 with a double and run scored.

High Class-A Kinston (38-31) - The K-tribe earned a 1-0 victory  over Myrtle Beach behind a dominating pitching performance by RHP BRETT BRACH (5-5, 2.80 ERA...In Brach’s first win since May 26 (a span of six starts, he held the Pelicans scoreless and scattered five hits over eight innings...Myrtle Beach starter RHP BARRET LOUX (7-3, 3.18 ERA) was as solid in tossing six scoreless innings while striking out 11...The Indians entered the ninth inning with a 0-0 tie, but were able to scrtatch the lone run across off LHP JOSEPH ORTIZ (4-3, 2.63 ERA) in their first at-bat of the inning...INF ADAM ABRAHAM led off the ninth with a double, highlighting a 2-for-3 performance...PR DELVI CID came in to run for Abraham and ultimately scored the go-ahead run on DH CHASE BURNETTE’S RBI single.

Low Class-A Lake County (28-41) - The Captains got a dominant pitching performance from starter and LHP MIKE RAYL (5-2, 1.53 ERA), but Lake Cunty's bullpen was unable to to fend off South Bend in a 4-2 loss...Rayl, who has allowed just two earned runs in his last six starts, tossed 6 2/3 innings of two-hit baseball, striking out seven and walking none. Rayl, who has allowed just two earned runs in his last six starts, tossed 6 2/3 innings of two-hit baseball, striking out seven and walking none...For South Bend, RHP BRADIN HAGENS (4-3, 4.34 ERA gave up just one hit in three innings, allowing no runs and striking out one batter for South Bend...A two-run homer by INF JESUS AGUILAR (his 15th of the season) gave Lake County a 2-0 lead, but the bullpen could not hold South Bend scoreless...RHP JOEY MAHALIC (0-1, 7.27 ERA) and RHP DALE DICKERSON (1-1, 1.72 ERA) combined to walk a batter, throw three wild pitches and hit a batter in the eighth inning. Mahalic was tagged with all four runs (three earned) in the inning, taking the loss for Lake County.

Rookie-level Mahoning Valley (10-4) - The Scrappers offense led Mahoning Valley to a 7-3 victory over State College,  increasing its  its lead to teo games in the New York-Penn League...Starter and RHP ROB NIXON (1-1, 4.91 ERA) allowed three runs on six hits in six innings for the Scrappers...With the game tied 3-3 after six innings, the Scrappers put up three runs in a four-hit eighth inning...The Scrappers  Mahoning Valley bullpen combined to throw three scoreless innings of relief, and RHP WILL KRASNE (1-0, 0.00) recorded the win. OF CODY ELLIOTT went 3-4 with a run scored and a RBI on the night.
