Here's how the Tribe's minor league teams fared Wednesday:

Triple-A Columbus (57-30) - The Clippers gave up three runs in the bottom of the ninth inning and lost 3-2 to host Louisville...Columbus held a 2-0 edge entering the final frame, but the Bats loaded the bases with nobody out and OF JEREMY HERMIDA tied the game with a 2-run double and INF TODD FRAZIER hit a game-winning sacrifice fly...RHP ZACH PUTNAM (4-2, 3.43 ERA) recorded his first blown save of the season after allowing all three runs, while giving up four hits and four walks...RHP JUSTIN GERMANO gave a strong performance in a spot-start, taking a perfect game into the sixth inning while allowing just two hits and striking out seven in six innings...INF JASON DONALD went 2-for-4 with a run scored...OF TIM FEDROFF and INF LUIS VALBUENA each went 1-for-3 with a RBI.

Double-A Akron (43-43) - The Aeros compiled just three hits in a 4-1 loss to host Altoona...Curve pitching held Akron to just one hit through the first seven innings...With a 4-0 deficit, the Aeros broke up the shutout in the eighth inning on INF TYLER CANNON’s RBI double...RHP JOE GARDNER (5-6, 4.06 ERA) took the loss, allowing all four runs on eighth hits and two walks while striking out six over six innings...Cannon finished the day 2-for-3 with a RBI.

High Class-A Kinston (9-4 in second half) - A shut-out performance from starter and LHP DREW POMERANZ (3-2, 1.87 ERA) led the K-Tribe to their second consecutive win with a 3-1 victory over the Hillcats...Pomeranz tossed eight shut-out innings and allowing just three hits to earn his first win since June 6...Facing a 2-0 deficit in the eighth inning, Lynchburg OF L.V. WARE drove a solo shot over the fence off RHP ROB BRYSON (0-0, 0.79 ERA) to cut the lead in half...But the Indians responded in the bottom half of the inning with a solo home run from OF ABNER ABREU, his fifth of the season...RHP PRESTON GUILMET (0-1, 2.08 ERA) came on and got three consecutive outs in the ninth to earn his 21st save of the season.

Low Class-A Lake County (6-7 in second half) - Despite a solid six-inning performance, LHP J.D. REICHENBACH (4-1, 3.52 ERA) could not keep Bowling Green from getting the big hit in a 4-2 loss...Reichenbach gave up just three hits and two walks...With the game tied 2-2 the Lake County bullpen was unable to maintain the tie, sending LHP KYLE PETTER (0-2, 7.36 ERA) to his second loss of the season...Petter gave up a solo home run just two pitches into the eighth inning and the Hot Rods went on to tally two runs in the inning. C ALEX MONSALVE went 2-for-4...DH BRIAN HEERE went 1-for-3 with a run scored and a RBI.

Rookie-level Mahoning Valley (11-9) - The struggling Scrappers were once again unable to hold on, as the bullpen ran into trouble late in a 5-2 loss to Williamsport...Mahoning Valley jumped out to an early 1-0 lead thanks to a solo home run from DH JAKE LOWERY in the first inning. But the Crosscutters responded in the next half inning with a solo home run from INF PATRICK MURRAY...RHP MASON RADEKE (1-0, 3.24 ERA) started for the Scrappers, tossing six innings and allowing just two runs on seven hits...With the game tied 2-2 in the eighth inning, RHP TONY DISCHLER (0-1, 5.40 ERA) was tagged with his first loss of the season after allowing one run on three hits in a two-inning stint...RHP RAMON CESPEDES (0-0, 6.75 ERA) was also unable to help out the Scrappers, giving up two runs on three hits in the ninth...INF JORDAN SMITH went 2-for-3 with a walk and a RBI.
