Indians issue injury update on four pitchers
The Indians issued injury updates this morning on four pitchers who are recovering from Tommy John elbow surgery -- Chen Chang Lee, Blake Wood, Josh Tomlin and Carlos Carrasco.
Here is the Indians statement:
RHP Chen Chang Lee is 8 months post-op, progressing currently thru mound program. Hopeful of simulated game activity in extended spring training.
RHP Blake Wood is 8 months post-op, progressing currently thru mound program. Hopeful of simulated game activity in extended spring training.
RHP Josh Tomlin, five months post-op, initiated flat-ground throwing program approx. 3 weeks ago. Josh is out to 75 feet. Hopeful of mound progression in extended spring training.
RHP Carlos Carrasco is unrestricted.
