Indians sign 10th round pick Holt
The Indians signed 10th-round draft pick Tyler Holt, an outfielder from Florida State, Saturday.
Holt led the Seminoles in batting average (.355) for the second consecutive year. He also scored 87 runs and amassed 26 doubles, three triples, 13 home runs and 48 RBI.
Holt also led Florida State with 30 stolen bases, being caught just three times. He was named to the All-ACC first team and was a consensus second-team All-American by Baseball America.
