NOTES:
* Matt LaPorta is getting his first exposure in the outfield today, after playing 11games at first base. LaPorta has played outfield before, but did not take any reps there during spring training after veteran free agent Russell Branyan went on the disabled list with a herniated disc. But with Branyan back, LaPorta will have to share first base duties, playing in the outfield when Branyan's at first.
* In it's last five meetings (including two at the beginning of this series), Minnesota's offense has outscored the Tribe's 29-11.
