Jordan Brown traded to Brewers
The Indians traded Triple-A outfielder/first baseman Jordan Brown to the Brewers for cash considerations this afternoon.
Brown, 27, is currently batting .278 with three doubles, one triple, three home runs, 13 RBI and 10 runs scored in 20 games at Columbus. In his only major-league stint, in 2010, he batted .230 with seven doubles, two RBI and nine runs in 87 at-bats.
Originally Cleveland's fourth-round pick in the 2005 draft, Brown won the International League batting title in 2009 with a .336 average.
