Makeup games with Mariners rescheduled
DETROIT: The rained out games of May 14 and 15 against Seattle will be made up in August and September.
The May 14 game has been rescheduled at 1 p.m. Aug. 23 as part of a day-night, separate admission doubleheader at Progressive Field. The originally scheduled game that day will begin at 7 o'clock. A Sept. 19 mutual off day for both teams will be used to make up the May 15 washout. The reescheduled game will begin at 4 p.m.
Fans holding tickets for the May 14 or May 15 games can use them for admission to Aug. 23 or Sept. 19 makeup contests, respectively. They can also exchange their tickets for another game on the home schedule.
