Marson to make Indians debut tonight
The Cleveland Indians have recalled catcher Lou Marson from Triple A Columbus. He will be in tonight's lineup.
Marson, wo was acquired in the Cliff Lee trade with the Philadelphia Phillies, will be in tonight's lineup against Texas. Carlos Carrasco, who was acquired in the same trade, will be pitching tonight for the Indians.
This will not be Marson's major league debut as he spent time with the Phillies earlier in the season (April 11-May 1, .235, 4-for-17).
In Triple A this season, split between Lehigh Valley and Columbus, Marson was hitting . 277 (87-314) with 18 doubles, two home runs & 33 RBI in 91 games.
