More of the same from lefties Lewis and Sowers
Scanning the Columbus Clippers roster moves today brings more of the same news for Tribe farmhands Scott Lewis and Jeremy Sowers.
Lewis was placed on disabled list (retroactive to 4/26) Wednesday with elbow soreness. In his place, Sowers was transferred to the Clippers roster in a paper move from short-season Mahoning Valley.
Sowers has not pitched since Spring Training where he went 0-1 with a 24.00 ERA in two spring games before being outrighted to Columbus on March 31st.
There's always been so much potential between the two, but Lewis has never been able to stay healthy and Sowers has never been able to recoup the magic from the 2006 season in which he went 7-4 with a 3.57 ERA in 14 starts as a rookie called up from Triple-A.
