Indians make minor trade at deadline
The Indians managed to sneak in a deal near the MLB trading deadline of 4 p.m. Tuesday.
But unlike like last season, the swap was no where near the blockbuster trade like the one that landed starting pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez for a bevy of young players, including the Tribe’s top two pitching prospects in Drew Pomeranz and Alex White.

Cunningham gone after best night in Cleveland
CLEVELAND: As expected, Aaron Cunningham was designated for assignment this afternoon to make room on the roster for Brent Lillibridge, acquired from the Red Sox on Tuesday.
Cunningham was used almost exclusively as a defensive replacement for Johnny Damon in left, but Tuesday night he laid down a squeeze bunt in the eighth inning that drove in the winning run in the Tribe's 3-2 victory over the Tigers.
