One of Tribe's biggest failings
When teams load the bases, the pressure is supposed to be on the pitcher. Not so, when the Tribe is at bat.
For the season, Cleveland is batting .191 (94 at-bats) and has grounded into 12 double plays with the bases loaded.
But the team's tendency to make two outs with one swing when the bases are full is worse than those numbers indicate. Forty-one at-bats with the bases loaded have come with two outs, so those dozen double plays have occurred in only 53 at-bats.
