Papelbon out for Red Sox
The Red Sox placed closer Jonathan Papelbon on the bereavement list, and he will miss three of the four games against the Indians.
Red Sox Manager Terry Francona did not announce his interim closer, but with Papelbon out, right-hander Daniel Bard will likely take over closing duties. Bard has a 1.80 ERA in 28 games and has one save.¶
