Triple-A Columbus (74-60) - The host Clippers were shutout 8-0 by Indianapolis...LHP David Huff (7-2, 4.81 ERA) was chased from the game after just four inning in dishing up eight runs on nine hits to take the loss...LF Jordan Brown went 1-for-4 with a double.
Double-A Akron (69-64) - The host Aeros reeled off their fifth consecutive win in shutting out Erie 9-0...LHP Matt Packer (1-2, 3.60 ERA) picked up his first Double-A win by holding the SeaWolves without a run on six hits while striking out a career-high eight batters...DH Jerad head led the way on offense, going 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and four RBI.
High Class-A Kinston (31-30 in second half) - Host Kinston defeated Salem 5-3...RHP Joe Gardner (12-5, 2.69 ERA) picked up the win by limiting the visitors to no runs on four harmless hits over five innings...1B Jeremie Tice went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.
Low Class-A Lake County (29-32 in second half) - Host Lake County doubled up South Bend 2-1...LHP Vidal Nuno (6-7, 4.77 ERA) earned the win in limiting the Silver Hawks to one run on five hits over seven dominating innings while striking out 11 batters...LF Delvi Cid went 1-for-4 with a triple and RBI.
Short-season Mahoning Valley (28-40) - Despite pounding out 13 hits, visiting Mahoning Valley lost 4-1 to Auburn...RHP Cole Cook (0-2, 4.91 ERA) did not allow an earned run and limited the host to two hits over four innings, but still was tagged with the loss...CF Trent Baker went 3-for-4 with a double and ruin scored and 2B Tyler Cannon also went 3-for-4 with a double to pace the Scrappers offense.
